Just a quick note. We have been VERY busy lately with our new arrival. Cindy was scheduled for delivery on 5/18, however, 2 days earlier, she entered labor. So much for trying to add a bit of order to our life. Kinda lets you know you really are not in charge. So, we called our neighbor Patty to watch the kids until their Aunt Peggy could get there (She is busy painting the new house), who would watch the kids until the Granparents could finally get there. It is a good thing we did not wait as I think I heard Grandma arrived at 7:00, but Jack was born at 6:55. We will post pictures soon, however, we have been busy with finishing the house and finishing our the school year with the kids.

Kitchen Floor
This week, Terpstras flooring, from Sandwich, Illinois, completed the Hard Surface flooring. This included wood in Kitchen, Foyer, Powder room, and Hallways. They also completed tile in MudRoom, Bathrooms, and Laundry Room. At the same time, my sister keeps going with the painting. Everything is shaping up nicely. I ordered birch Base/Casement trim and doors. The cabinents are scheduled for installation 3rd week of May (along with the new baby). After the cabinents, we install trim, carpet, appliances, and we are close to being done. It has been a long road from when we purchased the land 8 years ago and started designing the house. Since then we have had 3 children, and with the 4th only weeks away.
May Crowning
Carly represented her class in the school May Crowning ceremony. It becomes very apparent he height challenge when you see the size of the boy she was walking with, who is a 1st grade classmate. Under threatening skies, the ceremony was completed with a few drops of rain. We were very proud of Carlys participation.
