Matt turns 6!!

Hard to believe, but Matthew turned six in January. Matt usually has some sort of physical ailment on his birthday, and this year was no exception. Matt went grocery shopping after church one morning, stepped in front of the cart, and was promptly run over. First I told him to 'walk it off','tough it up'. I realized it may be more serious than I originally thought when he was hanging on the cart 10 minutes later, and still crying. Went to Edwards Plainfield facility and found he had a broken foot. Got a splint, then a cast, and now Matt is good as new. He recently went shopping with me again, but seems much less jumpy, and more aware of cart location.

Carly continues this year with the Little Flowers group at school. She had a badge ceremony with her friends where they are awarded all badges earned so far this year. Carly really enjoys this group.

Well, it has been a long time. We moved into the new house just prior to Christmas. Still getting organized. The kids take up most of our so called 'Free Time'. Getting old house ready for market (paint, carpet, etc.) New house has much better layout for us, is very solidly built, and so peacefull with neighbors so far away. Peggy is almost done painting, all shelves are done, and starting to work on getting house ready for Carly 1st communion.

Finally, we have a satellite dish for internet connectivity. We can upload pictures and update blog in minutes rather than hours. I have starting looking through last 3-4 months of pictures and deciding which to upload and share. Expect something new by the weekend.
